All three stories I have chosen to tell have one common theme or aspect to them, each stories has a strong relationship, two where I was influenced by the other person and the last where I influence someone in my future. The quote that I choose, by Scott Adams, that relates to all three stories is,“You don't have to be a person of influence to be influential. In fact, the most influential people in my life are probably not even aware of the things they've taught me.” This relates to my present because my teacher, Mrs. Kenny, has no idea the extent she influenced me and still does to this day. Mrs. Kenny helped me because she cared, not because she had too. She made such a big impact in my life that she is unaware how much she helped and changed me. This is exactly what I want to do for my students in the future. I do not need to know how much I impact them, I just want to do everything in my power to help them. I want my students to look back twelve years later and tell people how i made a difference in their lives just like I am doing with Mrs. Kenny. For my present, my grandma has always influenced the choices I make so when she tells me to do something, I do it. Her opinion means everything to me and I do not know if she truly realizes how much not only what she says but how much she means to me in general. Her telling me to be a teacher will forever stick with me and influenced me to stay in the path I am in.
